Sweet Emery!

It was a joy to photograph this precious little girl who just happens to look

just like her Daddy!

She was a tough one though.

Grins were not handed out freely,

I had to work hard for each of them.

But she loved all my candy...

One of the fun parts about moving back home
is seeing everyone all grown up with families of their own,
no longer children themselves.
I was so excited about this photo shoot...It was great catching up with Shana,
plus 3 years olds can be so much fun  :-)
And this little guy did not disappoint!
He was quick to smile, and listened so well for a 3 year old.
But let me tell you,
he was B.U.S.Y.
and 100% boy...

It was hot & humid that day,

but the location we shot at more than made up for
the fact that I completely sweated through my shirt within the first 10 minutes

I Heart Faces {Motherhood}

I prayed for years for that elusive title.

Mother.

And there is no greater joy than being called "Mama"

and by TWO little ones at that!!

This is one of my very favorite pictures of my youngest & myself.

It was a beautiful spring day and I realized I had very few photos of Addie and myself together

so I grabbed my camera and went to work.

I just adored the whole series of photos but

this one speaks to my heart the most!
